Sawyer Howitt: The Next Great Racquetball Player

Sawyer Howitt has become one of the best young racquetball players in the country. Sawyer Howitt is destined to have a bright future ahead of him, possibly even Olympic status. Many racquetball followers expect Sawyer Howitt will be part of the U.S. Men’s Olympic Racquetball team in an upcoming Olympics.

Sawyer Howitt currently plays for Portland’s Racquetball Club. Sawyer’s father, David Howitt is the famous chief executive officer of the Meriwether group.

Sawyer Howitt just finished high school at Lincoln High School and was part of the school’s racquetball team. When he played he played in boy’s high school singles, where he managed to win most of the games. While on the high school team, Sawyer Howitt gained the skills that make him the standout racquetball player he has become today. During his time with the Portland Racquetball Club, Sawyer Howitt strengthened his game and entered the national level after gaining some more experience. So many people have turned out to watch him, it’s only a matter of when before he joins the national team.

According to, Sawyer Howitt stole the spotlight during the Oregon High School Racquetball State Championships, finishing as runner-up. He ended up losing but delivered a strong performance against upper classman Eric Poppleton. His game has continued to mature and now has the skills to make it to most competitions that will happen in Oregon in 2017. Sawyer Howitt has been matched with fellow classmates John Curley and Gavin Usher. Both John Curley and Gavin Usher were finalists at the 2015 National doubles event.

With all the work and effort Sawyer Howitt has put in to becoming a great racquetball player, he is destined to become the next star of Racquetball throughout the world. Sawyer Howitt has the dedication to become the next greatest racquetball player in history.

Sawyer Howitt loves his racquetball, but when he is relaxing and taking a break from his work at the Meriwether Group or his racquetball, you can find him fly-fishing or watching the Portland Trailblazers at the arena.
